Terms of Service
What the service does, what you may and may not do with it, who owns what, and how either side ends the relationship.
Draft pending legal review. This document is written to be honest and readable, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Questions in the meantime go to support@stacked.app.

These terms are the agreement between you and Stacked. They are written to be read. Where a plain-English sentence and a legal instinct disagreed, we kept the plain-English sentence.
Stacked is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("Stacked", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
1. What the service is
Stacked is a subscription service that connects to your own third-party accounts, generates drafts of content and actions, and — when you approve them or enable autopilot — carries those actions out on those accounts.
We provide the software. You provide the accounts, the source material, and the judgement. Nothing in the service transfers ownership of your content to us.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.
- There are no passwords. Access is by magic link or a third-party identity provider, so keep the email address and identity provider on your account secure.
- You are responsible for everything done through your workspace, including by members you invite.
- One person may hold several workspaces. A workspace is the billing and data boundary.
3. Connected accounts
When you connect a third-party platform, you authorise us to act on that platform on your behalf, within the permissions you granted, for the purposes of the tools you have enabled.
- You must have the right to connect each account, and you must comply with that platform's own terms.
- Platforms change their APIs, permissions and policies without consulting us. If a platform removes or restricts access, the corresponding feature may stop working. We will tell you when this happens and, where the change is material and lasting, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund of the unused period.
- We never post, message, or act outside the tools you have enabled.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Stacked to:
- Break the law, or any connected platform's terms or rate limits.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, or run engagement, follow or view manipulation of any kind.
- Impersonate a person or organisation, or publish content designed to deceive about who is speaking.
- Harass, threaten, or target an individual, or generate content that sexualises minors.
- Post content you do not have the rights to, including material you generated from someone else's work without permission.
- Resell, sublicense or white-label the service except as expressly permitted on the Agency plan.
- Attempt to circumvent limits, extract our prompts or models, or scrape the service.
We may suspend a workspace immediately for a serious breach, and we will tell you why. For anything less serious you get notice and a chance to fix it.
5. AI-generated content
Every tool produces drafts using AI models. You need to understand three things about that:
- Output may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing anything before it is published or sent. Autopilot does not transfer that responsibility to us.
- Output may not be unique. Similar prompts can produce similar text for different customers. We do not warrant that generated content is original or protectable.
- We do not train shared models on your content. Your material is used to build your own voice model and to run the tools you enabled, and nothing else.
6. Your content and your data
You keep all rights to everything you upload and everything the service generates for you. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to store, process, transmit and display that content for you and to your connected platforms.
You can export everything from Settings → Data at any time, including after cancelling.
7. Fees, trials and refunds
- Plans and prices are on the pricing page, in USD, exclusive of tax unless a region requires otherwise.
- The trial is 14 days of the Creator plan with no card. If you do nothing, the workspace becomes read-only. You are never charged for a trial you did not convert.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing; access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
- Upgrades are immediate and prorated. Downgrades take effect at period end.
- A full refund of the first payment is available self-serve within 14 days. Beyond that, contact support and we will consider it honestly.
- Failed payments follow the retry schedule described in billing help. We do not delete anything for 90 days.
8. Availability
We aim for high availability and publish live status and incidents at status.stacked.app. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where it will be user-visible.
9. Changes to the service
We add, change and occasionally remove features. If we remove something you actively use, or make a change that materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel for a prorated refund.
10. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may terminate for a material breach of these terms, a legal requirement, or if we discontinue the service entirely — in which case you get at least 90 days' notice and a prorated refund.
After termination your data remains recoverable for 90 days, then it is deleted.
11. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of goodwill.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of connected platforms, or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We will post any change here with a new date and, for material changes, email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory rules in your own country.
