What it does
Three things, done properly.
Scores every member nightly against their own baseline, not a server average: messages per week versus their normal, reaction rate drop, voice minutes, channels left, and renewal date if they pay.
Batches the red list every Monday with a DM already written that references the last thing they actually talked about, plus a reason line only you see.
Learns from what happens next — a member who comes back decays the score, a member who leaves turns their final 14 days into a training example.

Does it DM people automatically?
Not unless you turn autopilot on. The default is owner-sends, because a win-back reads better coming from a person who noticed.
What if the member has DMs closed?
The draft is marked "DMs closed" and comes with an alternate: a short, non-awkward mention to post in a public channel instead.
Will it cope with a 40,000-member server?
Yes. Above 50,000 members, nightly scoring narrows to paid members and anyone active in the last 90 days so the run stays fast and the list stays useful.
